Kelly Formwork
Mental Health Campaign
The Brief
Kelly Formwork needed a high impact film to kick-start their mental health campaign targeting the construction industry. Partnering with Matt Selby at Kelly Formwork, we devised a scripted piece followed by candid interviews to empower their campaign.
Production
Shot across two days in North Devon, the film showcases two different production styles. The first being static cameras, capturing moments, as if time is standing still. And the second - a more fluid, movement centric style to potray positivity and forward momentum. The script also required us to film behind the scenes material, as well as two candid interviews with both Ross Austen & Darryl Kelly - the CEO of Kelly Formwork, who spoke openly about his own mental health struggles.
Editing & Finishing
Working with producers Suzy Paradise & Drew Janda, we fulfilled editing and colouring duties in-house ready for the film to be submitted to multiple film festival around the world. Ross’s story is a continual journey of self-improvement. We’ll be checking in with him again for the next step of his adventure.
